Farewell, Sir
I am both saddened and inspired over the death of Cy Twombly. He has been an enormous influence on me, both sartorially and artistically. His life, his body of work, will continue to influence various artists, art-lovers, collectors and museum goers indefinitely. A great desire of mine is to have given on a minute level, the same type of contribution Mr. Twombly has imparted. From it's inception, his concept of spare pencil and brushwork telling the story of Mediterranean literature has endured the entirety of his 60-year career. His sensibility, however childlike and elementary, has never changed, and has grown better with age.
